Parents:
We have such a wonderful FBLA club this year. You can be proud of your twelve daughters and
your one son (yes, only one male made it to state this year, which is a first @ MVHS). These
thirteen are the “achievers” of life. They do the extra outside of the classroom day. They have
participated in several community service projects and spent many hours preparing for and
producing their competitive business events. They are well behaved, full of energy, and care
about their futures in the business world. I thank you for being the parents of these amazing
young people that I get to work with.
We will have a terrific experience at the state conference in downtown Seattle, with thousands
of other students from Washington State. Students will have to miss two days of school. We
will return Saturday afternoon.

of president of our NW region for next school year.

the Westin.
Congratulations! There were
12 schools (Anacortes,
Arlington, Burlington-Edison,
Concrete, Darrington, Granite
Falls, Lakewood, Lynden,
Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor,
Sedro Woolley, Squalicum,
Stanwood) and 310 students
competing in our FBLA NW
region.
