These seven daily habits encourage us to spend more time with Jesus, Who "is the way the truth, and the life". Would you consider trying to make the following part of each day? 1. Parish Pictures To date, we have had 200 + families/individuals pose for our new parish directory. This is a great response, but we hope we can have the final 100 families/ individuals have their picture taken. This directory is being produced within the parish. Very shortly, the parish organizations will be contacted to have your picture taken. Please respond promptly to any calls you receive from those organizing the taking of pictures, Thank you so very much!! 2. Seven Daily Habits for Faithful Catholics: I came across a small leaflet that I thought had great insight into the habits we should try to cultivate each encourage everyone in the parish to consider a gift to this Built of Living Stones Campaign. Many, many thanks to those of you who have made a sacrificial gift to this campaign. James Billinger Morning Offering/Spiritual Reading for 15 minutes/Rosary/Daily Communion/Mental Prayer for 15 minutes/Angelus and Examination of Conscience Growing in these daily habits is a gradual work in our spiritual journey, which will take time and effort. If you do become serious about these seven daily habits, our Blessed Lord will give back to you the time you invested in these habits. You will find that you will have even more time to do the really essential daily things of life. God will multiply your efforts as He did with those few loaves and fishes that fed the multitudes. 3. "A New Hope...A New Home" At the time of the printing of this bulletin, we have received $5.3 million in pledges . I sincerely wish to PARISH LIFE “Built of Living Stones” Campaign As our efforts come to a close, we want to acknowledge those who have given in faith. The parish and school leadership is humbled by the outpouring of support for this campaign and we look forward to pursuing our next steps. To date Holy Savior has raised $5.3 million in gifts and pledges! While our efforts with the parish and school are coming to a close, we are still actively encouraging our benefactors to consider a gift to our campaign. Please continue to pray the wisdom and guidance our leadership needs to transition our project into the construction phase. The office will reopen on Tues, May 31, 2016 GOD’S FOOD PANTRY “Need for the Month” of June is cereal and pop tarts. A box for your donations is in the foyer of the church. STEWARDSHIP: Give them some food yourselves. After speaking to the crowds all day and teaching them about the Kingdom of God, Jesus demonstrated his teaching by feeding them with five loaves and two fish. Like the Apostles we hear the Word of God and then ask God to take care of the needs of our earthly neighbors. The Gospel tells us that when we act with faith and thanksgiving, our actions will fruitfully carry out Jesus command to ‘love one another.’ May we be energized by the Body and Blood of our Savior to work tirelessly for God’s Kingdom.
