Om Engineering College has organized “Tree Plantation Day” by the students of Civil Department under
the co-ordination of Prof. H. H. Gajera and Prof. N. B. Savaliya. Students were gathered in the Seminar
Hall and celebrated the event of tree plantation.
Dr. H. M. Nimbark, Principal at Om Engineering College has been designated as Guest of Honor for Tree
Plantation Day program. Moreover Rajubhai Bediya, Mr. Prashantbhai Kadivar, Jaydeepbhai Vaghela,
Manishbhai Boghara were remained present as Chief Guest of the function.
The function was inaugurated with lightening lamp by Chief Guests, Guardians of Om Education Trust
and Guest of Honor, Principal as well as head of the Om Parivar, Dr. H. M. Nimbark. Samarpan, Student
of 5th Semester of Civil Engineering has lead the session by encoring and share his thoughts on nature,
natural and neutrality.
Students have honored the Dias members as well as Professors of their respective departments with a
batch of Unity on the theme of working together and feeling of togetherness.
Students have welcomed the respective head of the departments with banquet of flowers and flowery
smile. Jayrajsinh, student of 5th Semester studying in Civil Engineering College shared his views on need
and importance of Tree Plantation Celebration.
Students have stream a video on Global Warming which has shown the past history of environment
problems and increased numbers of environmental problems of past and present.
Dr. H. M. Nimbark, Guest of honor has not only highlighted the key and crucial areas of nature which has
caused much but also shown the area where we can still work together and save the environment. It has
also given a sentence ‘one man one tree’. Principal has inspired the students and shown the future
usages of Trees and Students have appreciated the speech with a great applause as it seems readiness
and enthusiasm towards the saving environment.
Mr. N. B. Savaliya, working in the department of Civil Engineering, has shared the views on the tree
plantation that only planting a tree is not necessary but to make it grow regularly is not only necessary
but also compulsory. So he has taken an oath on behalf of faculty members of Om Engineering College.
Raju Gojiya, Student of 5th Semester Civil Engineering, has taken an oath by saying that “We all should
take care and grow all trees which will be planted on tree plantation day. We shall pour the water and
take the responsibility of all plants.
Gaust of honor as well as Principal of Om Engineering College, Dr. H. M. Nimbark Sir has plant first tree
and trustees have lead to the further tree plantation. Afterwards Staff members of Civil Engineering
have planted trees. All together with students, 45 plants have been planted successfully in the season of
monsoon.
Afterwards all respective persons have got to gather for snacks and drinks and departed at 10:00 am.
Tree Plantation was successfully completed and finished with the constant support from
whole Department of Civil Engineering with smiling face.
