Patronage Reminder for 2014
What is Patronage?
Brooke Telecom is a cooperative company, which means our
customers have the option to become a member by choosing to
receive landline service from us and paying a $1.00 one-time
fee. Once the operating costs and reinvestments in your cooperative have been met, the Board of Directors may allocate a
portion of the remaining money accumulated on the landline
service to the members in the form of “patronage”. The amount
of patronage paid will vary from year. If there is a patronage
dividend declared in December 2013, the dividend will be paid
as a credit on your January 2014 bill.
How do I receive Patronage?
To be eligible for the dividend you must be a member of the cooperative and your account must be in
good standing. Being in “good standing” means that it is no more than 30 days in arrears as of
November 23, 2013. If you would like more information on patronage or how to become a member

below and mail it back to Brooke Telecom if you would like to begin receiving an e-bill. The email line should filled in as the email account you
would like to have the bill sent to. The password line should be filled in with the password you would like to use when logging onto our online
billing website. There are no restrictions on the password (ex. numbers, letters etc.).
