Abstract
This event is a symposium on modern high-strength steels designed
to provide postgraduate-level and research workers in materials science and materials engineering. It offers a basic knowledge on
some selected aspects.
Talks held by experts from academics and industry will review several topics, such as steel design, microstructures and mechanical
properties, phase transformation, and modelling. The workshop is
a platform, which allows to discuss the current knowlegde on modern generations of high-strength steels.
The workshop will take place on March 30th and 31st at the University of Applied Sciences - Wels Campus. On March 31st after the
symposium, a get together event will take place, allowing further
scientific exchanges and discussions.
