Thursday, Nov 10: Veteran’s Day Assembly
Friday, Nov 11: NO SCHOOL

The students will listen to the story, “When Sophie Gets
Angry – Really, Really Angry…” twice during the week.
They will focus on making self-to-text connections and
identifying important ideas in the story.

The writers will continue to focus on hearing the sounds
in words and writing down the sounds they hear (kid
spelling).

Tuesday, Nov 8: Picture Retakes
Please allow your child to use kid spelling at
home when sounding out words!

The writers will work on asking and answering questions
about their story to add more details.

The students will work on identifying ending sounds in
words.
