A huge congratulations to all the performers in Wednesday's musical showcase
playing an eclectic mix of genre and instruments. 'Top Gear' theme tune on
the Ukulele is a new one on me! The standard was very high this time, some
pupils performing with maturity beyond their years.

Saturday 25th March - U11s Girls’ Football Regional Finals
The girls played exceptionally well in a difficult regional tournament. They
worked as a team and showed great effort and character by only being
beaten in one match. The team had a lovely day out in Nottingham and
enjoyed playing football in the sun. The girls were a credit to Witton Middle
School and we are very proud of you for being Worcestershire County
Champions. Well done girls!

Saturday 25th March - Regional Cross Country Final
Archie Duerden represented both Witton Middle School and North
Worcestershire in the Midlands Regional Cross Country Final in Leicester. Archie
showed great skill, determination and character to get to this stage of the
competition by qualifying at both District and County level. This was a whole
new experience for Archie who had to meet with a team he had never
previously worked with. Archie performed to a really high standard, finishing
153rd out of 248 very strong competitors. Well done Archie. You have made us
proud!
