Results
Another Busy weekend. There was a great turnout on Saturday at the Beacon Arts Centre for our
Annual Prizegiving Disco. So many tuned up we may need to book the Town Hall next year!! Many
Thanks to all the families who supported this event by attending, providing raffle prizes and Well
Done to all our young stars! Those who could not manage will receive their trophies tonight. A full

We were competing at 2 events on Sunday
At Bellahouston our U'17 boys team and seniors were competing in the National Short Course
Championships. Congratulations to Jonny Glen who won the U'17 race over 3K and along with Josh
Houston & Ross Forbes the club took the bronze team medal Well Done Boys!!
At the Kilmarnock Open Cross Country Races we had more success, our U'11's all ran well over the
muddy course with the boys team of Ross Davidson Lewis Hainey & Caleb Dunning finishing 6th and
the gir;s team of Hannah McGeehan Eve Mitchell Leah Cameron & Daisy WIlson in 5th place. For
the older age groups this was a chance to get a look at the course for the West Dostricts being held
in December at the same venue. Cameron Watson took silver in the boys U'13 event with Reece
Warnock in 9th. Nuala McCheyne repeated this in the girls with sister Cliona taking Bronze and
with support from Niamh Ramage the team were 3rd Ryan Gray competing over the longer
distance in the U'15 Boys event also gained a silver and in her first outing of the season, Emma
Mitchell took bronze in the U'17 women's event over 5K. Ross Gray competed well in the U'17
men's race over 6K finishing 5th and showing signs that he is now on the recovery trail

group and you may be asked why you wish to join- parent of a junior athlete is the response.
Most of the coaches post information on this page as well as photos of events.
We are going to add parent emails to our club circulation Email addresses have been asked for in the
information form over the last couple of years. Anyone who has not completed this part and who
wants to be included, please let me know asap. Any parent who does not want to be included in our
club email circulation should also inform me asap and your email address will not be included

This Sunday 17th November
Renfrewhsire Cross Country Championships
This event is taking place at Gourock Park and there are events for age groups U'11
upwards. This is a great opportunity for our U'11's (minimum age 9) to take part in an
open race and we would encourage all who have not yet informed Janice that they want
entered to contact her asap. Thursday is the final day for making entries. 07538210221.

Sprint & Middle Distance secions train at 6pm
Wednesdays at Clydeview Academy U'13+ Conditioning Middle distance Flexibility

Both these include the £5 registration fee payable to Scottish Athletics for athletes to
compete. New members MUST complete a Membership Form
Training Levy
An incentive was introduced for those wanting to pay for whole year.
1 session per week x 4 blocks =£20 Pay before end of October Total due £15
2 or more session per week x 4 blocks = £40 Pay befre end of October. Total due =£30
This has now passed and levies not paid will need continue to be paid by the block
An envelope will be isssued the week prior to payment due. 1st Levy was due 1st October
Please pay this to group coach asap.
All new juniors and anyone with change in their address/details will need to complete an
information sheets
All forms can be collected from group coach or printed from website
