THE ENGINEERING DESIGN WORKS
The 3-degree-of-freedom surgical bed
was designed for the operation, when the
need arises, of newly born within the ages of
0-1.5 years. The surgical bed has a foot
switch and 7 electric motors for 7 different
part motions helping to build an interaction
between the surgeon-patient surgical
operations.
The synchronized drilling- polishingsanding machine has three different
segmented parts working in phase as a single
unit mechanically automated and electrically
powered. The automatic machine is a part of
the assembly line for the production of
clothes-line spread.
The mobile saw-dust vacuum machine which
can hold up a capacity of about 8,000 liters
depending on the size /texture of the grains of the
saw-dust which is actually determined by the
compression ratio of the plunger of the vacuum
machine. The vacuum machine has as its major
components, an alternator, a 3- phase motor, a
forward-neutral- backward gear box, a vacuum
pump, a diesel engine. The vacuum machine is
expected to fill up its capacity within 15 minutes and
empty its content within 30 seconds using the
combination of the gear box and plunger /piston in
the vessel.

Different versions of Sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was one of the greatest scientists and mathematicians that ever lived.
He was born in England on December 25, 1643. He was born in the same year that Galileo died. He
lived for 85 years.
Isaac Newton was raised by his grandmother. He attended free Grammar school and
then went on to Trinity College Cambridge. Newton worked his way through college. While at the
college he became interested in mathematics, physics and astronomy. Newton received both a
bachelors and masters degree.
While Newton was in college he was writing his ideas about motion, which he called his
three laws of motion. He also had ideas about gravity, the diffraction of light and forces. Newton’s
ideas were so good that Queen Anne knighted him in 1705. His accomplishments laid the
foundation for modern science and revolutionized the world. Sir Isaac Newton Died in 1727.
Albert Einstein was born in the year 1879 in
Wurttemberg, Germany. He is widely
described as the founder of modern day
physics.
!  He is the founder of the famous theoretical
work “the theory of relativity”. Einstein has a
good number of important works in the field
of science credited to him.
!  Einstein passed away in the year 1955. He is
of a blessed memory.
!
There are several people who dedicate their lives to
making this life more comfortable for every one,
those whose contributions in the areas of science
are geared towards the exploring and maximizing
the unrefined resources of this world which we find
ourselves in.
"  The likes of these ones are the Einstein, Newton,
Max Plank, a host of inventors, many lab-scientists
e.t.c
"  These people have to be mentioned in order to
explain the fact that some difficult challenges in the
society can be defeated through the use of science
and its wonders though difficult to find but
possible. The doggedness and recentness of its
researchers is what stand out and makes the
change

" We
have to talk about how to solve the
issue of the boko-haram killings with
the applications of technology in
science?
" How can the danger of bullets being
fire from guns into the air be
neutralized or stopped by the use of
creative thinking with science as the
basic tool?
"  How can the effects of bombs/
explosives be neutralized by the use
of technological inventions?
QUESTIONS:
"  Can we close the gap between Nigeria/
Africa and the developed world at Large in
terms of technology and infrastructures?
"  What is the role and impact of technology in
the economy of any nation?
"  What are the personal projects that we can
look up to in life hoping to bring about a
positive change?
"  Do you think you can do anything in the
accordance to what “wecyclers” is doing
thereby bringing a change in the society?

Many graduates would go with the trend of searching
for profitable jobs upon graduation from their various
schools. Graduates in Nigeria and in the Nigerian
environment find the employment difficult owing to the
present economic situation of the country. As regards
the stiff competition among job seekers to occupy
limited positions in the job market, job seekers are now
necessitated to compliment their various degrees/
certificates regardless of their grades upon graduation
with other certifications and relevant work experiences
in the areas of their pursuit and or profession.
It is worthy of note that recruiters at all times and in any
group or class of job seekers would hire the best or the
closest match to their ideal candidate.
There are several steps that can be taken in the
course of finishing strong and been competitive in the
labour market, some of these are highlighted below.
"  Graduating with a strong grade point average
"  Taking up professional courses with professional
schools like NIIT, GIL e.t.c
"  Equipping your status with relevant professional
design packages e.g AutoCad, Solid Works, Java, C
++, C#, Solid Edge, PDMS, AUTOPlant, ICAN e.t.c
"  Registering with available and relevant even
professional bodies even at the student level.
"  Engaging in any short industrial attachments at
either of the long or short holiday sessions.
"  Composing a very good resume,
