• Hokey Pokey (Sing the English words except for
the body parts)

• Teach Directions vocab (drilling with pictures
of arrows for each direction)

• Can you find it?
• Instructors will hide an object in the classroom
and then children will have to follow directions
to find it.
• One child at a time will look for the objects and
the other children have to help give directions.
• We can also use this activity to reinforce
numbers when they tell how many steps to take

• In the town game
• Pretend that the classroom is a town.
• Have the children ask each other where they
want to go and how they would get there.
• Additionally, instructor can close eyes and then
ask if we were in what place and from where we
came and how we got there.

prompt children with questions
