Science/Social Studies Continued to work on our planet articles Read books on other planets and took A.R. tests 4. Miscellaneous: The kids are doing an awesome job on writing their group planet articles. At this point, every group is done with their rough draft. They are then meeting with their editor (me) and together we are discussing the best flow for the facts that they have found. We are compiling the articles into one newspaper. Copies will come home when we are done! This project is done to help pave the way for the dinosaur project. Information on the dinosaur projects will come home next week. A huge thank you to the Career Day volunteers for such a fun day! It was very informative and the kids were inspired and asked relevant questions. Please ask them about what they learned! Next week is a review week in Language Arts, so no spelling test. Due to the awesome volunteer turn-out for Career Day, we were unable to squeeze in our vocabulary quiz or reading test this week.
