The Spreadsheets as an Engineering Tool course demonstrates the use of Microsoft Excel
as a powerful engineering processing tool. The course explores the uses of Microsoft Excel,
including built-in functions, user-defined functions, customisations, graphs, macros and
VBA. Spreadsheets are excellent tools for answering questions, and tools that have been
developed around these include Solver add-in, the scenario manager and data tables. The
course is designed to provide you with knowledge to optimally use Excel’s capabilities.
