Landscape Ordinance Compliance
The packet of information you have been provided includes a summary of the
requirements associated with the city landscape ordinance along with a copy of the actual
landscape ordinance.
The landscaping ordinance is designed to achieve a number of objectives, including: to
maintain and protect property values, create transitions, and reduce the negative impacts
of surrounding land uses.
Tree cost will be $125.00 per tree, payable when acquiring a building permit.
Homeowners must water and care for the trees. The city will warranty replace trees up to
a year after planting. After that, the homeowner becomes responsible for replacement
costs.
The city will plant required boulevard trees throughout the growing season as time
allows.
Trees will be 1” – 1 ¼” inch caliper or larger. They will be spaced properly and
according to ordinance
