Beverage
The beverage license restricts consumption
to the clubhouse and terrace area. The Massachusetts Alcohol Beverage Commission
strictly regulates the sale and service of all
alcohol. As a licensee, we are responsible for
the administration of these regulations
Wedgewood Pines Country Club must supply all alcoholic beverages. The club reserves the right to limit and control the
amount of beverages consumed by the
guests. Bars are limited to a maximum of 4
consecutive hours of service. Alcohol may
not be served on Sundays prior to 12:00
noon. No unused portions of liquor, beer or
wine may be taken from the premises.
Credit cards or cash may be used to pay for
any alcohol balances that result the evening
of the event.
Guarantees
A guarantee of the exact number of guests
will be required ten business days prior to
the event. Any final guarantees may be no
lower than previously agreed upon minimum requirements for a particular room.
Final guarantees are not subject to reduction.
Taxes And House Charges
A house charge of 20% will be added to all
food and beverage items. Food and beverage prices are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax. Additionally any rental items
are subject to 6.25% sales tax. The “House
Charge” is an administration charge and is
retained by the club. It does not represent a
tip or service charge for any members of the
staff.
F U N C T I O N S
Facility Rental
Room rentals are applicable on all
events. See contract for specific length of
facility rental hours. Facility rental for
social functions does not include use of
the golf course or grounds for any purpose. Wedgewood Pines Country Club is
a non-smoking facility; the outdoor
terrace is available for smoking.
Prices, Deposits And Payments
A non-refundable deposit is
required to reserve Wedgewood Pines
Country Club for any event. Thirty days
prior to your event an estimated 75%
deposit will be required and the final
payment is due seven days prior by cash
or certified check.
Decorations
The management prior to your function
must approve decorating ideas. We do
not permit items to be taped or pinned
on any of our walls. No confetti is permitted. Per local fire code open flame is
not permitted unless the flame is at least
half way down the vessels that it is
placed in.
Liability
Wedgewood Pines Country Club is not
responsible for damage to or loss of any
items left in the club prior to or following
any function. The customer is responsible and shall reimburse the club for any
damage, loss or liability incurred by the
club by any of the customer’s guests or
any persons or organizations contracted
by the customer to provide any service
or goods for said function.

Menu Selections
The Wedgewood Pines Country Club requires all menu selections to be finalized
four weeks in advance of the event. All food
items must be supplied and prepared by the
club. Due to health and insurance policy, no
leftover food or beverage may be taken from
the country club.
