Park n Ride Information Sheet
The University provides free car parking for University staff and students at our Park n Ride facility.
The Park n Ride car park is located at The Forsyth Barr Stadium car park with access from Anzac
Avenue.150 spaces are available for the exclusive use of University staff from the hours of 7.30am to
7.30pm Monday to Friday.
Users are required to display a valid University Park n Ride permit in the windscreen of their vehicle at
all times in the car park. To obtain a permit please contact [email protected].
A free shuttle service operates Monday to Friday to take permit holders from the Park n Ride to the
main areas of campus and back again. Please see below for shuttle timetable, route map and further
details.
Please note that the Park and Ride car park spaces are located within the larger Forsyth Barr stadium
car park and any vehicles parking outside of the designated University Park n Ride spaces will be
subject to the stadium’s charges and penalties and may be removed at the owners’ expense. Permits
for the Park n Ride are over allocated so an available space is not always guaranteed.

Park n Ride Shuttle Bus Timetable
AM Service: 8.00am, 8.20am
PM Service: 5.10pm
Mon – Fri (excluding statutory public holidays)
The shuttle starts the morning service from the Park n Ride car park at the above times. The
afternoon service starts from the city bus stop on Cumberland Street (one-way north bound) outside
Oncology, opposite the Fraser building.
The shuttle stops at the following city bus stops and University locations along the routes (see below

Robertson Library, Union Street East – City Bus Stop
Commerce Building, Clyde Street – City Bus Stop
ISB, Albany Street – City Bus Stop
School of Dentistry entrance, Great King Street
Hercus Building entrance, Great King Street (*AM service only)
Oncology, Cumberland Street, (opposite Fraser building) - City bus stop (corner of
Cumberland and Hanover) (*PM service only)
