Sacramento Metro Fire Community
Emergency Response Team (CERT)
The Sacramento Metro Fire District offers free classes to help you protect
yourself, your family, your neighbors and your neighborhood in an emergency
situation. Following a major disaster, first responders who provide fire and
medical services may not be able to meet the demand for these services. People
will have to depend on each other for help. Prepare yourself to help by taking a
CERT class. To register for an upcoming class, please visit our website at: www.
smfd.ca.gov/cert.htm or contact Metro Fire CERT program at: 566-4381; cert@
smfd.ca.gov.
