Parking Pass: please be sure to properly affix the sticker to the windshield on the lower
passenger side. Failure to do so will result in ticketing. You may not place the pass on your
dash, you may not laminate the pass. If you receive a ticket, you must pay it along with any
late fines. Do not let these fees accrue or possibly prevent you from getting graduation

Girls tennis practice is cancelled today. Boys tennis will practice as usual. Tomorrow before

Attention all faculty, staff, and students the CHS Drama Geeks will have their 1st improv show
this Friday, Jan. 24th at 7:00pm in room #501. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the

Calling all students that are interested in auditioning for Carrie, the musical, auditions will be
held Mon. Jan. 27th and Tues. Jan. 27th from 3:45-6:45. Please come by room #503 to sign
up for your audition date. Students are expected to prepare a monologue and a song from a

Relay for Life will be having a bake sale on Thursday, January 23 during all lunches.
Come see us at the bottom of the ramp by the cafeteria! All items are $1.00 and proceeds are

Relay for Life will have a meeting on Friday, January 24th at 7:45 in room 217. We will be

Attentions Juniors: An admissions representative from Georgia State University will be here on
January 28th to meet with interested students. To attend, please sign up in the school

Balfour will be here on Wednesday, January 22rd, to take orders and payments for senior
announcements, cap and gowns, or any other senior order. Also they will be taking orders for
class rings, and letter jackets. They will be in the cafeteria during all lunches.

There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday Jan. 21st in Coach Stewart’s room, room 2212
at 3:45 for any student who wants to try out for baseball. Tryouts begin Jan. 27th, but you must
attend this meeting before you can tryout. If you cannot make it to the meeting you must see

Are you planning on trying out for Boys Soccer January 21st? Then you need a physical prior to
that date in order to tryout. Please see coach Sandifer in room 406 to get a physical

Girls soccer tryouts are 1/21-1/23. You MUST have a current physical on file in order to
participate in tryouts. You should bring all necessary gear – cleats, shin guards, and warm

Anyone planning on playing football next year must be in the weight room every Monday thru

The spring semester deadline for the Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest is Friday, January
31. The GLOL Essay contest invites students to select a Law of Life - a wise saying that
expresses an important principle or value - and explain how it applies to their own lives. Your
essay must be 500-700 words and must be typed. For an entry form and more information,

Attention Seniors! If you paid your senior class dues, you are invited to enjoy Waffle House for
breakfast on Friday, January 24th in the 2000 Building Lobby. We will start serving waffles,
bacon, eggs, and grits at 7:30. Remember, you must have paid your dues to participate!!

Campbell High School’s Rifle Team did it again with a huge victory over BEST Academy out of
Atlanta. The score is 1081 to 395. 1081 is a school all time high record. The 4 shooters
making up the winning team are Dray Cathey, Ian Lisuza, David Giles, and Audriona
Lyons. Diego Monroy and Kris Nally provided outstanding backup for the victory. Audriona
Lyons had the high standing score of 88. Dray Cathey had the high Kneeling of 96, the high
prone of 99 and the high total score of 276. Thanks to all and to your outstanding
support. GO SPARTANS.

Congratulation to the JV lady Spartans basketball team on their win against Kennesaw Mountain
last night. That improves their record to 11 wins and 0 losses. Sydney Norwood lead the team
with 15 points made off five 3 point baskets. Come out tonight to support JV lady Spartans as
they host Pebblebrook here at Campbell. Games start at 4:30 with the Freshman boys, 6:00 JV
girls, and 7:30 JV boys.
Also, the Freshman and JV tournaments start this Saturday here at Campbell, at 8:00AM.
Congratulations to the varsity lady Spartans basketball team on their win against Kennesaw
Mountain last night. There was a balanced scoring attack led by Julie McKie with 11 points.
Miranda McClure had 15 rebounds and Marisa Hall 5 steals. Their record is 15 & 5 overall, & 8
& 3 in the region.
The Varsity Lady Spartans next game is this Friday versus Marietta, at Marietta at 6:00.

The Boy’s Freshman Basketball Team defeated Kennesaw Mountain last night 51-48. Zuri Ware
scored 13 points, Tamaar Lee scored 12 points. Octavius Dollar, Mehki McKinney, and Jarrett
Jackson each scored 8. Next game is tonight verse Pebblebrook.
