play, it sums the acts in
the play.
INTERLUDE
• It is a short piece of
entertainment that is
presented between the acts
in play.
SOLILOQUY
• It is a speech made by a
character when he is alone.
The audiences hear but
another characters are not
expected to hear it.
Aside
• The character who speaks
to himself or makes a
comment in the presence of
another characters
