Wide publicity of FRA
through media and meetings at Gramsabha level . Handbills, Posters

FRCs, SDCs etc
Effective training programmes
time frame set by district administration for GPS Trainning,
Gramsabha meetings, workshops, Meetings of departmental
heads at taluka & village level.
529 training sessions for FRC members- total no. of persons trained
= 7013
Supplying the FRCs with requisite kits comprising of GPS village
maps forest & revenue record , Stationary this facilitated fast
disposal of claims.
Procurement of GPS instruments from other districts
apart from existing 60 GPS Gadgets available with district
administration , extra 38 GPS gadgets were procured from other
districts to facilitate measurement of claims.

Marching Ahead
Proactive work done in Gadchiroli dist. by Gramsabha Mendha Lekha
CFR was granted to Gramsabha Mendha Lekha in Dhanora Taluka.
In the year 2011-12 Bamboo Cutting tenders in forest comp. no. 648 & 470 at
measuring 1724.90 acers, were floated by Gramsabha Mendha Lekha by giving
a wide publicity through media .
Nine tenders forms were sold.
Four tenders were recd by Gramsabha Lekhamendha.
Highest Bid was recd. For Rs. 8151 /N.T.
Highest Bid of Rs. 2100 per bamboo bundle was recd.
Bamboo felling started in Dec-2011
Gramsabha Mendha Lekha has recd. sum of Rs. 93 lakhs due to CF Rights.
Residents of Gramsabha Mendha Lekha have earned sum of Rs. 33 lakhs on
account of bamboo felling. This amount was duly deposited in the respective
bank accounts of the residents.
Similarly other Gramsabhas like Rekhatola, kuthegaon, Kupaner, Gumadi from
Dhanora taluka and Gramsabha Nagveli from Gadchroli taluka, Gramsabha
Bodhala from Wadsa taluka and Yerandi from Kurkheda taluka are following the
footsteps of Gramsabha. Mendha Lekha
