Top quality in all components
All components fitted to the Kverneland
CLG-II are heat-treated to stand up to
the extreme tough conditions these
implements are to work.
Improved soil structure
The Kverneland CLG-II is designed for
loosening the subsoil and to break up
wheel tracks to improve soil structure
and promote good drainage. Increasing
the soil’s permeability improves seedbed
conditions for fast germination by
promoting drainage and efficient
gaseous exchange, and thereby
effective nutrient uptake.
Effective penetration
The shape of the tines provides good
penetration, even in hard dry conditions.
Elimination of tramlines
The Kverneland CLG-II can be used for
elimination of tramlines.
New flexible ”bolt-on”
construction
To provide a flexible construction with
optimal possibilities to adjust the tine
spacing and at the same time have the
option to increase the implement size,
Kverneland have developed a unique
connection clamp for bolting the whole
construction together. Test from our
laboratories as well as field trials.
One or more tines can easily be taken
out of work if needed in hard
conditions.
Auto-reset tines
The CLG-II is fitted with the well-known
Kverneland auto-reset system which has
been used on Kverneland ploughs for
many years. The leaf spring protection
system is very simple, but strong and
reliable. It has proven reliability for
trouble free working year after year, with
little or no maintenance.
When encountering an obstruction,
individual leaf springs allow each leg to
trip and ride over the problem area,
returning to their original position
automatically.
Depth control wheels are available as
option.
Each leaf spring is adjustable (by the
addition of leaf sections) to provide a
range of point load pressures from 600
up to 1,200 kg. The standard spring has
7 leaves. For extreme heavy conditions
double springs can be added.
All models can be extended. Depth
wheels are available as option.
The special heat-treated point gives
excellent penetration in the toughest
of soils.
Adjustable tine spacing
Standard tine spacing is 60 cm and is
effective in most conditions. However,
the unique flexible frame construction
allows simple adjustment of the tines.
Tines can be taken out or tines can be
added, just as you wish. Even the
frame construction can be changed
because of its bolted construction.
Kverneland CLE
- Works to a depth of up to 70 cm
The Kverneland CLE is a modern V frame subsoiler for
heavy duty pan busting.
Tine design and position ensures thorough sub surface
loosening, without bringing subsoil up into the seedbed.
The wedge shaped replaceable shin
pieces cut through the soil,
minimising surface disturbance.
Auto-reset tines
The CLE is fitted with single or
double leaf spring protection for
positive ground engagement yet
maximum impact damage protection.
The same spring protection is to be
found on hundreds of thousands of
Kverneland ploughs turning soil all
over the world.
Thorough soil disturbance
For thorough soil disturbance, each
leg is fitted with 300 mm wing
shares, with the option of 650 mm
versions for additional shattering in
extreme conditions.
All wearing parts are easily
replaced.
Minimised blocking
The V shaped frame and rear
mounted positioning of the
standards improves underframe
clearance, thereby minimising
blockages in trashy conditions.
Tine spacing can be adjusted from
60 to 90 cm.
Double auto-reset leaf spring
protection fitted as standard.
The Kverneland CLE is available
with 1, 2, 3 or 5 tines.
Depth control wheels are available
as option.
650 mm lateral wing shares are
available as an option.
