Facebook Application
A MAP-Works Facebook application is available for both students and
faculty/staff. Accessing MAP-Works through Facebook eliminates the need
for logging into MAP-Works directly. The Facebook app will allow students to
access the surveys, student reports, view campus resources, and view DirectConnects all from their Facebook page. Faculty/staff users have the ability to
directly access MAP-Works from Facebook with all of the same features in the
regular system available to them.
How to Add MAP-Works to your Facebook Page:
1. The MAP-Works app can be found by searching "MAP-Works" in Facebook
or by navigating to http://apps.facebook.com/mapworks.
2. When clicking on this link, Facebook will ask for permission to allow the
MAP-Works application to be installed on your Facebook page. Click the
“Okay” button.
3. If you already have your access code, enter it to link your Facebook and
MAP-Works accounts. If not, click “Don’t have an access code”, enter your
email and your access code will be sent to you.

4. After entering your access code your accounts are now linked. When
accessing MAP-Works again, you will proceed directly to the app. Your
screen should similar to the screen below.
Since the design of the MAP-Works site requires a full size browser window
(rather than the limited space available inside Facebook), you will need to
click on the link to open MAP-Works in a new browser window/tab.
