Meeting Minutes
January 3, 2012
The North Centre Township Supervisors held their organizational meeting in the township
building on January 3, 2012, at 7 pm with Supervisors Artman, Hess and LeVan present.
Guests present were C. Fedako, R. Davenport, D. Mengle. Township employees present were
T. Clymer, S. Shaffer, and C. Kline.
The Chairman opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance and moment of silence.

Provide road workers Ten (10) paid holidays; January 1, Good Friday,
July 4, Memorial Day, Labor Day, General Election Day, Thanksgiving, 1st
day of buck season, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Any hours worked
on these days will be paid at time and one-half of applicable pay rate. If the
holiday falls on a weekend the following Monday will be the paid holiday.
Township office to be closed on holidays provided to full-time employees.
Provide full-time employees 2 personal days off with pay per year.

Guests Presentations
Gerald John, Connie Hosler and Carl Fedako will continue as auditors for the Township.
Old Business
R. LeVan inquired if zoning permits were received for the new hair salon along Route 93 in Fowlersville.
C. Kline met with the salon owner and will meet with the building owner and salon owner tomorrow to file
a zoning permit.
New Business
PSATS Conference attendance was discussed.
C. Kline discussed B. McHenry’s porch enclosure.
D. Artman motioned to adjourn the meeting. R. LeVan seconded and the meeting adjourned by a vote of 30. D.Artman retracted the motion to adjourn and R. LeVan seconded the motion. The meeting was
reconvened by a vote of 3-0.
Supervisors discussed backhoe options. S. Hess motioned to purchase the JCB backhoe at the quoted price
of $61,959.47 including the 6-speed auto speed transmission and 2 buckets. R. LeVan seconded and the
motioned carried 3-0.
D. Artman motioned to adjourn the meeting, R. LeVan seconded and the meeting adjourned by a vote of 30.
