Orthopaedic Nursing Review
Course
The Orthopaedic Nursing Review Course is a one-day review course for nurses in your facility.
Attendees glean the most important concepts and pearls of wisdom needed to care for a broad range
of orthopaedic patients, all in one day. This course provides an excellent final review for those
planning to take the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Exam, or for those wanting to enhance their
orthopaedic knowledge; this course is a terrific way to provide contact hours for orthopaedic nurses.

Contact Hours
This course offers 7.5 Category A Contact Hours for each attendee as designated by the Orthopaedic
Nurses Certification Board (ONCB).
The National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON) is accredited as a provider of continuing
nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation
(ANCC-COA). Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses, provider number
CEP3432.
The Bone Up fee includes:

• Hard copy syllabi for up to 30 attendees
• NAON staff coordination
As the host, your facility will be responsible for:

Core Curriculum for Orthopaedic Nursing, 7th Edition
This textbook is the recommended resource for preparation
for the Orthopaedic Nursing Certification Exam. The Core
Curriculum is an excellent reference and guide for every
orthopaedic unit. This text provides a number of visual
displays to assist the reader in a greater understanding of the
described concepts. Content, references, and graphics have
been updated in this most recent edition. Additional contact
hours can be earned by completing post-tests for each
chapter.
Orthopaedic Nursing Self-Assessment CD
This revised program provides case studies, and nearly 600
questions and answers about degenerative joint,
inflammatory, metabolic bone,
neuromuscular/pediatric/congenital, musculoskeletal tumors,
sports, orthopaedic trauma injuries, and diseases and
disorders. This CD can be downloaded to eight different
computers. 9.25 CH are available with this product by
completing the assessment tests, which can be purchased for
$15 dollars at a member rate.
Complimentary Registration to NAON’s Annual Congress
The 2017 Annual Congress is the premier event of the year for all orthopaedic nurses. Attendees
can earn up to 33.0 CH by attending educational sessions, viewing posters, and participating in
pre- and post-Congress webinars. Congress offers exemplary continuing nursing education related
to current issues, trends, evidence-based practices and research in orthopaedic healthcare, as
well as exclusive networking opportunities with fellow orthopaedic nurses from around the world.

Payment can be made in one of two ways:
1. Institutions or hospitals can make a one-time payment of $6,475 or
2. Payments can be made in two separate installments. If installments are preferred, the first
installment will be in the amount of $3,000 and the remaining payment of $3,475 will be due within
