Over 320 charities across France count on a catalog system developed by
Dons Solidaires to order excess nonfood goods, encouraging manufacturers and
distributors to donate rather than destroy products that no longer have commercial
value. It became clear early on that, with its small team and the increasing needs of
member charities, reducing administration time and creating a self-service ordering
and registration system were top priorities.
With guidance and support from SAP and Coresystems, Dons Solidaires examined its
processes and deployed the SAP Business One® application. The organization has
since improved logistics processes and optimized resource management. It was also
able to automate its catalog and inventory system and bring them online, freeing up
volunteer time and valuable resources. Dons Solidaires can now Run Simple – which
means more vital goods are being delivered to those who need them most.

funding for the distribution of school supplies and gifts, staff mobilization,
and logistics
• Donation of licenses for the SAP Business One® application
• Expertise and collaboration on the e-catalog system
• Support for an emergency campaign to respond to the refugee crisis
Resolution
Worked with Coresystems to deploy SAP Business One in the cloud

“We are here to provide charities the goods they need to help the neediest
among us. With SAP Business One, we can do our job faster and more efficiently
– making the same possible for our member charities. The result is that more
goods get to more people – increasing the social benefit of what we do and
ensuring we can keep doing it long into the future.”
