Arcor was founded on July 5th, 1951 in Arroyito (Córdoba, Argentina) by a group of young
entrepreneurs who have assumed the commitment to offer the best quality food at a fair price to
consumers all around the world.
With sustained growth, Arcor consolidated as the No. 1 food company in Argentina. Today it is a
leading industrial group that specializes in the production of Sugar Confectionery, Cookies &

Arcor’s annual turnover is US$ 3.3 billion. At present, it has 39 manufacturing plants distributed
throughout Latin America: 29 in Argentina, 5 in Brazil, 3 in Chile, 1 in Mexico and 1 in Peru. Many of

It produces more than 135 ton of sugar in its factory “La Providencia” located in Tucuman,
Argentina.

With 7 confectionery industrial plants (3 in Argentina, 1 in Brazil, 1 in Chile, 1 in Mexico and 1 in
Peru), Arcor Group has become the world’s leading manufacturer of candies and the main exporter
of confectionery products of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru.
With over 100 product launches per year and a high level of brand awareness, Arcor offers
rewarding and functional products to the widest segment of consumers from grown-ups to children.
Due to its quality, creativity and innovation, it has achieved outstanding growth levels not only in the
European market, but also in the Asian and African markets.
It manufactures: Filled, hard, sour, crystal, and chewy candies; lollipops in different shapes; nougat
candies; marshmallows; jellies; milk tofees; compressed candies; chewing gum (sugar-free or not)
and bubblegum.
Cookies and Crackers
Bagley Latinoamérica S.A., the partnership formed with the Danone Group for cookies, alfajores,
and cereals businesses in Latin America, is one of the leading companies in the region. With 8
manufacturing plants in the region (5 in Argentina, 2 in Brazil and 1 in Chile), the company launches
more than 40 new products each year that stand out for their high quality and variety.
It manufactures: Cereal crackers, assorted cookies, sandwich cookies, wafers, snacks, alfajores,
crackers, cereal bars, sweet and dry cookies, and Christmas products.
Chocolates
This business line has 7 industrial units in Latin America, from where it supplies the market needs of
countries all over the world. Its products are distributed in more than 100 countries with an
increasing participation in the export market confirming its quality, productive efficiency and the
loyalty of its consumers.
It manufactures: chocolate bars and confectionery products, children’s chocolate, tablets, chocolate
candies, bonbons, bite-size chocolates, coated wafers, bars with chocolate, and seasonal products
(Easter, Halloween, Christmas, etc.).

Ice creams
Arcor's activity in the impulse ice cream market was another strategic challenge that transformed
the consumer’s favorite chocolates and candies into creamy and refreshing ice creams.
Today Arcor is the leading company in the impulse ice cream market in Argentina, having achieved
a substantial and sustained growth. Outside of Argentina, these products are commercialized in
countries of the Southern Cone, in line with Arcor Group's international vision.
It manufactures: Chocolate-coated ice creams, cones, popsicles, sundaes, and ice cream bars.
Food products
Arcor Group has an important know-how in foodstuff manufacturing and has 7 industrial plants in
Argentina that carry out a strict selection of raw materials and apply advanced technological
processes.
In 2006, Arcor Group acquired the long-established and renowned Argentine foodstuff company
Benvenuto S.A.C.I. Its nutritious and tasty products are commercialized with support of the Arcor
and La Campagnola brands.
It manufactures: Canned vegetables, fish, tomatoes, legumes and fruits; oils; sauces; tomato
purees; juices; jams and jellies; corn flour; fruit paste; cocoa powder; polenta; milk jam; dressings;
and powder desserts.
