Erosion Control means helping water settle into the earth gradually,
rather than ripping new channels that cause flooding, or funneling
dirty water directly into streams. We have been using erosion control
measures since 1990. Our engineers invented the compost filter in the
1980’s to slowly filter rainwater sheeting off roads. Now they are used
all over the United States. Our staff wrote Oregon’s first erosion control
manual that was the basis for our state rules.
