seminar instruction. She is the owner of AskMueller Consulting, LLC, providing consulting services for physicians
nationwide. Kathy is a nationally known speaker and the author of many multi-specialty medical and surgical coding
workbooks.. She has a great amount of experience in gastroenterology, surgical subspecialties and pediatric
subspecialties. Her presentations have included American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American
Gastroenterological Association (AGA), North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), Society of
Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Inc., Digestive Disease Week (DDW), American Pediatric Surgical Associations (APSA), Decision
Health and the Coding Institute. Kathy also writes a coding column for NASPGHAN and answers the coding hotline for ASGE.
Kristin Vaughan, CPC, CGCS, CPMA, ICDCT-CM has been a consultant for AskMueller Consulting since December 2011 and
has trained extensively under Kathy Mueller. With over 12 years of coding and billing experience focusing on Evaluation
and Management services particularly for Gastroenterology, Kristin is able to envelop Kathy Mueller’s renowned
expertise into her own presentation so that attendees are confident in the training they receive. Kristin is certified as an
ICD-10 instructor through the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance.
Eileen Mullen, CPC, CGCS, CPMA, ICDCT-CM Eileen is a Certified Professional Coder through AAPC and Certified
Gastroenterology Coding Specialist through PAHCS, who has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Eileen has
worked with both solo and large group practices across the nation providing recommendations for coding and
documentation to ensure optimal reimbursement. She currently works as a consultant performing both inpatient and
outpatient chart audits, specializing in gastroenterology.
Eileen is certified as an ICD-10 instructor through the
