All incoming first year students attend Composition or Honors English sessions in STL 18 in partial fulfillment of the General Education information literacy competency. Librarian instructors collaborate with faculty to teach nearly 150 classes in this room each semester. Friends of the Library Spring Used Book Sale will take place April 23rd through May 1st. The library is accepting donations of gently used books in all areas. You may bring small quantities of books to the Checkout desk during library hours. The process for library course reserves has been largely manual. Since electronic reserves was implemented back in the 90’s, things have changed in the world of information. Much more content is now digital and it makes sense to obtain these documents in digital form since they are intended for use as electronic reserves. We’d like to introduce a few options that can save everyone time. the use of the databases to obtain digital copy, please ask a librarian for help. • You are welcome to add course content yourself to Blackboard “Course Documents” in lieu of submission for E-Reserves. Academic Computing staff will be happy to show you how to upload files to “Course Documents” if you are unfamiliar with the process.
