Well it’s been a little while since I
last updated you on the Anita Fire Hose
Company Etc. in Lemon Grove, the biggest and best little fire equipment supplier in San Diego. So I thought I would
see what Anita has been up to.
Well that’s not exactly true.. Actually, Anita in that New Yorker (she always tells me its Rhode Island, like it’s
the La Jolla of the east coast.) accent
calls me and says, “Yo, when ya goin to
get over heeeer and do a stooorie?”

Of course I make the mistake and
try to put her off for a while. No dice. A
few days go by, and Anita sends me what
her idea of what the story should be.
A-N-I-T-A, here’s the deal, you
stick to fire equipment and stay away
from writing. You’ll be doing our readers a favor….
Seriously, though, since we did the
story back in late 2004, Anita and her
company has really come a long way. Her
secret is simple, she listens to good advice and follows it, and has made a lot
of good decisions. It also doesn’t hurt that
she is a hard worker too.
