CALLING ALL ‘BUDDING’ ARTISTS!
As part of this year’s Summer in the City celebrations, Whitefriars will
be staging a public exhibition to showcase the works of local amateur
artists, in association with art supplies shop Cowling & Wilcox. Simply
paint or draw a picture with the theme ‘Whitefriars in Bloom’ and you
could win some great prizes, and have your work displayed in Whitefriars!
Pictures must be your own original work and can be in any medium (except
photographic) up to a maximum size of A1 (841mm x 594mm), including any mount.
Hand in your picture to:
1st prize: £100 voucher
2nd prize: £50 voucher
3rd prize: £25 voucher
Redeemable at Cowling & Wilcox, plus
three runners-up prizes.

Terms and conditions: No purchase necessary. Prizes are as stated – there
is no cash equivalent. All entries must be received in-store by 5.30pm on
30 June 2015. In submitting their picture, entrants are confirming that it
is their own original work and that, if selected, agree for it to be used in
publicity material for Whitefriars in Bloom (posters, website, banners, etc),
and for it to be displayed in a public exhibition to be held in Whitefriars
during summer 2015. Copyright and ownership will continue to be retained
by the artist, who may offer the picture for sale during the exhibition.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered
into. Employees of Whitefriars and Whitefriars stores, and their families,
households and agents, are not eligible to enter.
