When properly designed and manufactured, a plastic faucet will perform as long and as well as its
traditional brass counterpart. In fact, in some harsh water environments plastic faucets, pipes and
fittings will outlast traditional brass and copper equivalents. And it goes without saying that nonmetallic faucets have no lead or other metals that can leach into drinking water.
