In May, the WIN partner meeting was held at Kulturen in central Lund. Host
of the day was BRANN AB. In beautiful surroundings, participants from
Finland, Denmark, Norway and all over Sweden gathered to discuss water
related business and follow the latest news and trends in water innovations.

Host of the day, BRANN AB, gave an interesting
presentation about patent strategies, something that
many of the innovation companies reflect upon. Kasper
Öberg (BRANN) mingles with Luc Antelme (Flocazur) and
Göran Stjernberg (Tetra Pak).

Success in water business covers a wide area of expertise! The guests in
WIN partner meetings adds great value and triggers reflections and change.
Jeanette Andersson (Rising Tide and
Queen Invest) is funding early stage
companies owned /driven by women.
This started a discussion about research
showing increased profits in companies
with mixed gender leadership.
Johan Olsén (Almi Innovation)
offers great support for growing
companies. This can include both
financing and mentorship.
Peter Kisch (Future by Lund) talked
about future needs of innovations in
Lund, encouraging new ideas and
thinking outside the box.

WIN has folllowed innovation company DRiX´s journey from idea to product. Today we were able
to try the brand new flavored water for the first time! Madeleine Gross Liljenström (DRiX) held
the presentation. DRiX also got valuable feedback from the participants after the test.

success story about how to get a
partnership in place with a big corporation.
The audience is listening, asking
questions and sharing thoughts.
Linda Parkefelt (Sweden Water Research)
told us about a current project, aiming to
decrease the nutrient load to the Baltic Sea.
She is also looking for participants.

The business mingling continued over lunch. Many participants also took the
opportunity to book meetings during the afternoon.

One of the success factors in WIN is the business mingling! To inspire even more results during
the discussions , the WIN team creates a WIN Mingle Map, with suggestions of who to focus
