Movement Studio, Tea Lounge and of course our Niwas (Japanese
for resting place). Our Niwas feature the O’Furo waterfall Jacuzzi,
eucalyptus steam room and full amenity locker rooms.

EL CONQUISTADOR
This time honored treatment begins with a full body avocadocitrus exfoliation. Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, avocado oil has
a natural affinity for pampering the skin and provides a shield from
environmental pollutants. Next, a therapeutic mineral soak opens the
pores and prepares the skin for a vitamin rich moisturizing application
to protect your coat of armor. Finally, a customized facial using active
plant derived oils and extracts leaves you glowing and ready to
conquer the world.
GIFT OF THE SEA
Detoxify, hydrate and re-mineralize your skin with one of nature’s
most potent ingredients: Seaweed! This exclusive treatment begins
with a dry brush exfoliation followed by a full body mask of warm
mineral rich seaweed. You are then cocooned so that the seaweed
can be deeply absorbed while your therapist performs a relaxing

Local Ingredients
What makes each Waldorf Astoria Spa truly unique is the way that
we introduce local ingredients to your Spa experience – fruits, plant
and minerals – many with a traditional history of soothing or healing
properties to refresh and rejuvenate.
The native Taíno Indians which originally inhabited Puerto Rico
continue to influence us today throughout the resort. Inspired by
their original diets, today we feature a variety of services which
highlight guavas, pineapples and coconuts to create an invigorating
spa experience. Additionally, our Kí children’s spa’s name comes
from the Taíno word for Earth Spirit.

AQUA THERAPY
The amazing virtues of water will restore your body with this results
driven hydrotherapy treatment that refines and firms while promoting
detoxification. Jets are designed to increase lymphatic drainage,
promote detoxification and reduce cellulite while an underwater
massage with a powerful hose targets sore muscles and joints for
complete relaxation and well-being.
SUN HEALER
Reverse sun damage and rehydrate your skin with a coating of
healing Aloe, Avocado and Dilo oil. Revered for their medicinal and
healing properties, this dynamic blend contributes pure nourishment,
hydration and protection. The masque is applied from head to toe
and the body is cocooned to seal in moisture. The skin is softened
and soothed while being protected against any further damage from
exposure to environmental elements. Includes a relaxing head and
neck massage.
BAÑO DE ORO
A lymphatic dry brush exfoliation is followed by a wrap in a mineral
rich mud masque. After, a mineral bath supports lymphatic drainage
and muscle recovery while warm oil is gently massaged into your
scalp to nourish dry damaged hair. A moisturizing application
completes this luxurious experience that reduces swelling and
joint pain and gives the skin an energy boost resulting in a radiant
‘golden’ glow!
OCEAN DETOX
Effectively detoxify the skin and body with a purifying exfoliation,
active seaweed body wrap and mineral rich bath. Seaweed contains
antioxidants, essential fatty acids and Vitamin A, all of which rebuilds
elasticity, regenerates damaged skin cells to produce collagen and
reduces the appearance of cellulite. This ritual facilitates the body’s
natural ability to expel accumulated toxins, supporting increased
circulation and cellular turnover for younger, suppler skin.

GUAYABA AREITO “GUAVA CEREMONY”
The scent of guava awakens the body’s endorphins in this sensorial
ceremony. Your treatment will start with a full body exfoliation using a
sweet guava body polish which provides purification, drainage and
exfoliation. You will then be enveloped in a decadent guava masque
and covered in warm linens while your therapist transports you to
a world of serenity with a warm guava oil scalp massage. Vitamin
K, C and Lycopene infuses the skin with collagen boosting, healing
and anti-aging elements. This indulgent ceremony concludes with a
hydrating body mist to leave you luminous and glowing.
TIERRA DEL YUNQUE
Tracing its roots back to ancient Taíno civilizations, this therapeutic
treatment uses an intense mineral rich aromafango known for its many
therapeutic benefits, especially its detoxifying effects and reduction of
muscular spasm and pain. Our lush treatment begins with a dry brush
exfoliation to loosen dead skin and stimulate the lymphatic system.
Heated mud is then applied to the body and you are wrapped in
warmth to encourage maximum purification while a decadent hot oil
scalp & marma face massage is performed. Next, a hydrating vitamin
rich body lotion is applied and a 25min. back, neck and shoulder
massage completes your experience.
SHAPING RITUAL
Inspired by stem cell extracts and figure refining active ingredients, this
luxurious treatment accentuates and firms the silhouette keeping the
skin youthfully smooth and toned. Your experience begins with a full

GUIDE TO RELAXATION
You and your partner will have the opportunity to learn the art of
massage. Your therapist will guide you through a full body massage of

Our hypnotic massage offers a gentle manipulation of the muscles;
designed for relaxation, improved circulation, ease of muscle aches,
and reduction of stress and fatigue.
THERAPEUTIC FUSION MASSAGE
An intense massage designed to release areas of chronic pain and
tension. This massage is designed for individuals wanting more specific
bodywork or deep pressure. The 50 minute service focuses on the
back, neck and shoulder, while the 80 minute is a full body session.
RAIN FOREST HOT STONE (70 minutes)
This popular massage incorporates our aroma-oils and warm
rainforest stones which are placed on key energy points along the
body. These warm stones will be used to transfer heat and essential
oils into the skin restoring balance and harmony.
MOMMY-TO-BE MASSAGE
This nurturing massage focuses on the special needs of the motherto-be. It consists of a massage using a special pregnancy pillow which
allows you to lay face down and helps relieve lower back pain, water
retention and sciatica. We end with a luxurious belly balm which helps
prevent and reduce stretch marks.

ROYAL THAI MASSAGE
Traditionally performed by Monks in Thailand, this massage is a
combination of a natural herbal treatment, heat therapy, massage, and
aromatherapy. This therapeutic treatment is done in a traditional way
using a hot poultice imported from Thailand. The poultice is muslin ball
filled with an herbal blend consisting of turmeric, lemon grass, kaffur
leaves, patchouli, camphor and others. These herbs are activated
when heated and used on the body to alleviate muscle pain and
inflammation and bring heat to the muscles to induce relaxation. Lastly,
the poultice will be wrapped for you to take home for use between
your professional treatments.
THAI MASSAGE
Sometimes called “assisted yoga,” Thai massage involves easing the
client into various assisted stretches, pressure point stimulation and
compression to detoxify your body, relieve pain and renew your
body’s energy flow. This massage is performed on a padded floor
mat, the client remains fully dressed and no oils are used. (Please
wear loose fitting clothes.)
REFLEXOLOGY
Practiced for centuries, reflexology is the Eastern science of wellness
and balance. Skilled manipulation of specific points on the feet, which
corresponds to different areas of the body, will increase well being,
improve the flow of energy and reduce stress.

Ayurvedic Journey

BINDI BALANCING

SHIRODHARA

For those restless sleepers, valerian is used for its calming qualities

BAÑO DE LECHE (COOL WATER BATH)
This milk bath rich in the proteins whey and casein, as well as amino

BOARDROOM HOT TOWEL FACIAL
This facial includes a deep cleansing and exfoliation, followed by a
botanical mask that penetrates below the skin to soften beard growth,
for a remarkably easy shave and no razor burn! Includes and age
minimizing eye gel treatment. A relaxing face, shoulder, neck and

ARNICA SPORTSMAN MASSAGE

SPA BOUTIQUE
The boutique at Waldorf Astoria Spa features a mindful selection of
skin, bath and body care lines as well as a variety of sustainable lifestyle
resort and yoga wear for both men and women. Wellness inspired
gifts, jewelry and books, for yourself or loved ones, are available to
extend your spa experience long after you leave. Gift Certificates can
be purchased for any denomination and make the perfect gift!
SPA INFORMATION
All guests receiving services at the Waldorf Astoria Spa are entitled
to complimentary access to spa facilities on the day of service. (Not
inclusive of Eduard de Paris Salon guests) No additional discounts will
be applied to any packages, specials or promotions.
Management reserves the right to refuse a guest/service
AGE POLICY
Guests 18 years or older are welcome to enjoy all spa services and
spa facilities. Children 14-17 years old, wishing to receive a spa service,
must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For those under 14, we
welcome you to enjoy our Kí Children’s Spa. Minimum age for Fitness
Center is 18 years old.

For your convenience, a service charge and applicable taxes is
applied to all services. Additional gratuity is at your discretion and may
