Speaker 1: (girl shaking head) You gotta love those Lords A-Leapin’.
Speaker 2: (sarcastically) Well, don’t let your charitable holiday spirit carry
you away!
Speaker 3: I think those six geese-a-layin’ looked really uncomfortable.
Speaker 4: Hey! Who came up with this “Twelve Days of Christmas” stuff
anyway?
Speaker 5: Yeah! I thought Christmas lasted only one day a year!
Speaker 6: (like a union representative) Twelve days minimum! Absolutely
twelve days! Don’t let anyone talk you into anything less than twelve days!
Speaker 7: That’s right! I need at least twelve days to get ready for the big
event itself! I mean there’s cookies to be baked, snowmen to be built…
Shopping Girl: (interrupting, frantic and bossy) Shopping! I’ve got to go
SHOPPING!
Speaker 8: I’ve got to learn the bell part for the Christmas caroling.
Speaker 9: I haven’t even begun my exhaustive letter to Santa with my list
of requests.
Shopping Girl: SHOPPING! I’ve GOT to do my SHOPPING!
Speaker 10: O.K. But if we’re going to celebrate twelve full days of
Christmas, we’d better get crackin’! This place doesn’t look like Christmas
at all!
Shopping Girl: Get outta my way kid! I’ve got presents to buy!
First and Second Days of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas we hang the decorations
Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Fa la la la la la la la
Tis' the season to be jolly
Fa la la la la la la la
Bring the presents by the armful
Fa la la la la la la la
Sing your favorite Yuletide carols
Fa la la la la la la la
Solo: See the blazing Yule before us
All:Fa la la la la la la la
Solo: Hang your stockings with this chorus
All: Fa la la la la la la la
Solo: Christmas day will bring such pleasure
All: Fa la la la la la la la
Solo: When we find them full of treasures
All: Fa la la la la la la la la la la la la-------------Speaker 11: It looks like a party!
Speaker 12: A Christmas party!
Speaker 13: I see the stockings are hung!
Speaker 14: And the popcorn is strung!
We've put up every decoration under the sun
so it's time to rock this party with some Christmas fun!
Rocking around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas tree let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some caroling
You will get a sentimental feeling when you hear------ voices singing
"Let's be jolly, deck the halls with boughs of holly"
[clapping]
Rocking around the Christmas tree have a happy holiday
Rocking around the Christmas tree in the new old fashioned way!
Everybody Rock!
Speaker 15: Well, things are getting to look a lot like Christmas around
here.
Speaker 16: I like the garland and the Christmas trees best.
Speaker 17: Wait a minute, wait a minute! We forgot to decorate the
tree!
All: Oh my gosh! etc.
Speaker 18: Well, who's job was it anyway?
Speaker 19: Johnny's name was on the list.
Speaker 20: Where is Johnny? Has anyone seen him?
All: (give various answers)
Speaker 21: I remember! He was looking for a bedtime snack.
Speaker 22: Well, it would help if we all could sing we could get this tree
decorated in no time!
On the second day of Christmas we trim the Christmas tree
Oo oo oo
O Christmas tree
O Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches
O Christmas tree
O Christmas tree, how lovely are your branches
Your shining star and twinkling lights
Will warm the hearts of us tonight
{Let's light the tree}
O Christmas tree O Christmas tree
How lovely are, lovely are, lovely are your branches
Speaker 23: Today is the last day to get our letters to Santa if we expect him to
get them by Christmas Eve!
(Music starts)
Third and Fourth Days of Christmas
On the third day of Christmas we wrote to Santa Claus
Christmas comes but once a year with presents 'round the tree
When you write to Santa Claus take this tip from me
When Santa Claus gets your letter you know what he will say
"Have you been good, the way you should, on every single day?"
When Santa Claus gets your letter to ask for Christmas toys
He'll take a look in his good book he keeps for girls and boys
Speaker 24: Dear Santa, I have been very good this year, except for that
unfortunate incident with the tack on Susie's chair.
Speaker 25: Dear Santa, Surely you wouldn't hold it against me that I
broke a relatively thin baseball bat over Johnny's head...since he had it
coming anyway!
He'll stroke his beard, his eyes will glow
and at your name he'll peer
It takes a little time you know
to check back one whole year!
When Santa Claus gets your letter
You know what he will say,
"Have you been good, the way you should on every single day?"
When Santa Claus gets your letter, to ask for Christmas toys, he'll take a
look, in his good book, he keeps for girls and boys.
When Santa Claus gets you letter,
I really do believe you'll head his list
Speaker 26: Here's my letter!
You won't be missed
Speaker 27: Don't forget my letter!
by Santa on Christmas Eve.
Speaker 28: Wait a minute! Wait a minute! I've got a great idea! This is the
new millennium! I'll text my letter to the North Pole!
On the fourth day of Christmas we send a Text to Santa
Now listen up I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna text the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo
TEXT I'm gonna FAX the facts

Let me tell you 'bout a cool invention it's called a mobile phone.
It can turn a bad situation around
turn it around with ease
Even though I didn't mail my Santa letter (yo!)
sending it by TEXT I think is even better (yo!)
Cause a TEXT arrives in any kind of weather (yo!)
So listen Santa here are the facts.
I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna text the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo
TEXT I'm gonna FAX the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
Let me say that this is quite a letter
it's important for Santa to see (Santa to see)
it's taken days to narrow down the list of all the things I need
Santa don't you see I've taken the greatest care (YO)
There's nothing on my list I think that I can spare (YO)
And even tho' my friends think I don't have a prayer (YO)
A mighty mighty mack these are just the facts
SEND!
I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna text the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna FAX the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
When I text a message to Santa's number and follow the text routine
Before you know it my letter will arrive at the North Pole via TEXTING
I hope I'm not the only one who sent a TEXT
This is the new century so I guess I should relax
But I won't receive an answer to my TEXT til Christmas
Oh the pressure!
I'm gonna TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna text the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus
TEXT TEXT the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa Claus Yo!
TEXT I'm gonna text the facts
TEXT the facts to Santa,

On the fifth day of Christmas we wait for Santa Claus
Santa's always busy making wishes come true
And you can bet he's getting ready for you
No matter how much he has to do he delivers!
Yeah, Yeah
He delivers
He delivers from his place to yours
He doesn't ring bells or knock on doors
He delivers in person just because because he's the best
He's Santa Claus
We love Santa
Down through the chimney in the middle of the night
One, two, three and he's clear out of sight
and even though he's old he does all right
He delivers yeah yeah
He delivers
he delivers!
Yeah, Yeah
He delivers
He delivers from his place to yours
He doesn't ring bells or knock on doors
he delivers in person just because because he's the best
He's Santa Claus
He delivers absolutely free
He always does it so personally
He delivers from sea to shining sea
It's a special delivery
I'ts not the florist or the Pizza Man
It's not the plumber or a telegram
It's not even the Handyman
We hope by now you understand
He delivers
He delivers from his place to yours
He doesn't ring bells or knock on doors
he delivers in person just because because he's the best
He's Santa Claus
Sixth and Seventh Days of Christmas
On the sixth day of Christmas let's play out in the snow
With our hats on our heads to keep out the chill
We will slide on our sleds down the side of the hill
What fun we'll have when the cold winds blow in the snow
Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow
With our cold weather comes and there's ice on the pond we will glide we
will slide through the trees and beyond
so take my hand and away we'll go in the snow
Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow
As fast as we can go
Look out below!
We'll land in a drift and catch the lift and ride up nice and slow
When the whole world is white like a beautiful dream
When snow flakes take flight and icicles gleam
then come with me and away we'll go in the snow
Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow
When the cold weather comes and there's ice on the pond
we will glide we will slide through the trees and beyond
so take my hand and away we'll go in the snow
Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow
Ho-ho-ho-ho in the snow
snow snow snow, snow, snow in the snow!
On the seventh day of Christmas we all went on a sleigh ride
We're gliding through the snow in the one horse sleigh ride with a clippity
clop how we love to go on a holiday sleigh ride through the snow
Jingle bells ringing and good friends alongside eating gingerbread cookies
saying hello on a holiday sleigh ride through the snow
We'll turn down Santa Claus lane and sing some Christmas carols
We'll laugh the whole day through
'cause it's the season to have fun
Let's go on a sleigh ride through the snow
Forget your shopping we're jingle hopping around the town and having fun
Let's go on a sleigh ride through the snow
We're bopshooboppin on a clippity cloppin sleigh ride through the snow
So come along with us you'll be delighted in a one horse sleigh giddy up
let's go on a holiday sleigh ride through the snow
tell all your friends that every one's invited for gingerbread cookies hot
cocoa on a holiday sleigh ride through the snow
So come along with us you'll be delighted in a one horse sleigh
giddy up let's go on a holiday sleigh ride through the snow
Tell all your friends that everyone's invited for ginger bread cookies

We're going to make this ride a holiday tradition
Each year we'll wait for you 'cause it's the season to have fun
