A SLICE OF J1 ADVICE

A SLICE OF J1 ADVICE - COLORADO
INTRODUCTION
Colorado is a US state that encompasses much of the Rocky Mountains. With a population
of approximately 5 million it is noted for its vivid landscape of mountains, plains, mesas,
and canyons. Denver is the capital and the most populous city of Colorado. In the western
part of Colorado there are 4 national parks: Rocky Mountains, Mesa Verde, Black Canyon
of the Gunnison and Great Sand Dunes where there is a kaleidoscope of summer
wildflowers. Colorado is extremely cold in the winter, so when the heat comes in summer,
all of the festivals happen and the locals come out to play! This makes it a fantastic
location to spend your J1 summer!
