30,50 Endurance Ride
10 Mile Trail Ride
Trail:. Refine your horses technical skills over
single track trails, good precursor for Tevis.
Miles of forested single track trail through
alpine meadows with the remainder on old dirt
roads. Being true trails there is some rock, but
no difficult mountains to climb. 10 Mile Intro
Ride is an opportunity to have fun, follow a
ribboned trail & learn more about our sport.
Ride at your own pace.
Ride Camp: Lily Glen Horse Camp, Plenty of
parking , mostly meadow, with trees. Your Ride
entry covers camping for Friday & Saturday
night. Horse Water supplied. Certified Weed
Free hay provided at Vet Checks. May be
available for purchase. Call for more
information.
Ride meeting: Friday evening. Saturday night
Dinner & Awards for ALL Riders. Potluck dishes
welcome. Head Vet DVM Mitch Benson. All
AERC & PNER rules apply. Please bring current
membership card. $15.00 for all non-members.

From I-5 Medford: Exit I-5 at Hwy 62, drive
east to Hwy 140, turn south (right) onto Hwy
140 and follow it to Big Elk Road (Forest rd. 37)
before Fish Lake. Turn right & stay on this till it
dead ends into Dead Indian Memorial Rd. Turn
right (west) drive approx. 6 miles, turn left
into ride camp.
From Ashland: This route has switch back
curves & is steep. Take Exit 14, drive east
toward Klamath Falls on Hwy 66 for one half
mile, turn left onto Dead Indian Memorial Rd.
Continue for approximately 18 miles to Lily
Glen Horse Camp, turn will be on the right.
From Central Oregon: Take Hwy 97 south, turn
right (west) onto Hwy 138, turn left, (west)
toward Medford onto Hwy 62, take Hwy 140,
(south/east) to F.S. Rd 37 turn right follow to
Dead Indian Rd, turn right (west) drive six
miles, camp will be on your left.
From Klamath Falls: Take Hwy 66 to clover
Creek Rd (before Keno) turn right and proceed
to Dead Indian Memorial Rd. Turn left and
continue to Lily Glen on the left.

As a participant in the
Ride, I agree to abide by the Rules of AERC, PNER and the
aforementioned ride. I understand that endurance riding involves being in remote areas for extended periods of time, far from communications,
transportation, and medical facilities; that these areas have many natural and man-made hazards which ride management cannot anticipate, identify,
modify, or eliminate; that horses can be excitable, difficult to control, and unpredictable; and that accidents can happen to anyone at any time. I agree
to take full responsibility for myself and the animal I am riding. In exchange for the privilege of participating in AERC endorsed distance rides, I, my
heirs, executors, and administrators will hold harmless and blameless AERC, PNER and all officers and directors thereof, all members of the ride
management and ride personnel, and all property owners/tenants upon whose land the distance rides are held from all liability for any injury or loss to
myself or my horse which occurs due to my participation, or anyone who accompanies me to AERC/PNER events.
Junior riders (under 16 years as of 12/01/2016 for AERC or under 16 years as of 01/01/2017 for PNER) entered in the ride will be accepted and allowed to
ride only if accompanied by a competent adult (18 years or older) and must be duly entered as a competitor in the event and sponsorship must be
documented on the Junior entry form, complete with sponsor signature, at the time sponsorship begins. If AERC rules 10.3, 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 are met an
AERC member 14 years or older who has completed 500 miles or more in the AERC rider mileage program may ride unsponsored, but will compete in the
Senior division. Such unsponsored rider must have on file in the AERC office a letter by parent or guardian which consents to and requests unsponsored
status. The AERC office will then provide a letter for this unsponsored rider verifying 500 miles in AERC rider mileage program, which letter must be
presented to ride management at check-in or earlier.
Per AERC rule 10.3.3 ride management may choose not to honor the unsponsored rider rules and may require all persons under 16 years of age to have
sponsors. When sponsors are required, Juniors will not be allowed to start or continue on from any point without an adult sponsor. Additionally, all riders
under 16 years must wear protective helmets when mounted. Parent/Guardian signature gives permission for emergency medical treatment for Junior.
I have read AERC and PNER rules, conditions, regulations and requirements of this ride and will abide by them.
