12 ways to have
fun & safe visit
“The humans are responsible”: Dog owners/handlers are
responsible for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times.
“Keep me under control so I
don’t get loose”: Dogs must be
leashed before entering and upon
leaving Scottie Yard and must be
leashed in the transition corridor.
“Scoop my poop”: Owners must
have visible pet waste disposal materials at all times and must pick up
your dog’s fecal matter and properly dispose of it in a trash receptacle.
“Pay attention to me and my
new friends”: Owners must be
in verbal and sight control of their
dogs at all times and prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting,
and aggressive barking. Never leave
your dog(s) unattended.
“Only nice dogs get to visit
Scottie Yard”: Dogs with a
known history of dangerous behavior are prohibited.
Immediately leash your dog(s) and leave
Scottie Yard if your dog behaves aggressively.
“If I dig, you put it back”: Owners/handlers must stop their dogs from digging and are responsible for filling any
holes their dog creates.

PATRONS USE THE
PARK AT THEIR OWN

the Dog Park.
“Special ladies should stay
home”: No female dogs in heat are allowed in at Scottie Yard.
“The little humans are great
but not while we’re playing”:
No children age 12 or younger are allowed in Scottie Yard.
“It’s just for us dogs”: No other
animals may be brought into the fenced
area.
“Keep us safe”: Glass containers,
food in bowls, long lasting chews and
human food are not allowed.
Failure to abide by the park
rules may result in loss of
privileges or owners may
be ticketed
