Cross Country Ski Trip to National Forest Lodge in Isabella, MN Join us on our 13th annual trip to National Forest Lodge, where you’ll find excellent skiing, superb hospitality, and a peaceful and relaxing setting, not to mention great food, an outdoor hot tub and a wonderful sauna. More than 35 kilometers of groomed trails perfect for skiing and snowshoeing weave through uncut stands of pine. Cozy, rustic cabins hold two to eight people. Cabins are heated and have electricity, sitting areas and comfortable beds, but no interior plumbing. A central bathroom and shower house is only 30-100 feet away from the cabins. Linen rentals are available, or you can bring your own sleeping bag, pillows and towels. Isabella is located about 70 miles north of Duluth. Transportation is on your own.
