The cornerstone for the formart project “NeMo” in Düsseldorf-Bilk was laid today
in the presence of Dr. Gregor Bonin, the Deputy for Planning and Building on the
Administration Board of the state capital Düsseldorf. formart GmbH & Co. KG,
one of Germany’s leading residential developers, is planning to build a residential
complex here between Neusserstrasse and Moselstrasse, comprising 74 stateof-the-art apartments and four townhouses, directly opposite the Düsseldorf
parliament (Landtag) and the Medienhafen. The section of the complex on
Neusser Strasse will also contain two commercial units. The project name of
“NeMo” derives from the first two letters of the streets on either side of the project.
“The closure of this long-standing gap in the buildings makes the entire downtown area significantly more attractive,” emphasizes Dr. Gregor Bonin. “Furthermore, I am confident that this location in the government district with its view of
the parliament building and the Rheinpark will be something truly special for the
future residents.”

The highlight of the residential ensemble is the opening up of the internal area as

Unterbilk district. In conjunction with the light-filled and airy construction style of
the buildings, this attractively landscaped and generously planted green area
creates an inviting space that will encourage the future residents to stroll here

“We are planning completion for early 2016,” notes formart Managing Director,
Andreas Gräf. “We want to create a residential mix of two to five-room apartments with balconies, terraces or loggias, ranging in size from 55 to 237 square
meters.” All of the buildings are designed to meet the demanding KfW-70 energy
efficiency standard and will be fitted with high-end flooring, tiles and sanitary
elements. 30 percent of the apartments have already been sold off-plan to owner-occupiers and investors. Apartment prices start from around EUR 290,000.
