community members who want to work together on a grassroots, youth-driven film project with
Youth Mental Health Canada.
YMHC has produced a national, grassroots, youth-driven film project, "Youth Voices, Youth
Hope" with close to 150 students from three provinces, many prominent Canadians(Clara
Hughes, Seamus O'Regan, Mary Walsh) and young adults. Our focus is on youth mental health
reality, change and action”.

TRAINING: ASIST; Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training;

“ASIST is a 2-day intensive, interactive and practice-dominated course designed to help
individuals recognize the risk of suicide, and learn how to intervene to prevent the risk of
suicidal thoughts from becoming suicidal behaviours. Suitable for all persons in positions of
trust: health professionals, social service workers, teachers, counsellors, youth workers, police
and correctional staff, and community volunteers. Prepared caregivers can help prevent
suicide. Includes a Participant Workbook and a certificate.
