Terms and Conditions of Entry for the triple j hottest 100 Of All Time Competition 2009
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify
any entrant for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
Entry to the prize draw is open to residents of Australia who are over 18 on the 26th August 2009
and who voted in the Hottest 100 Of All Time song of the year Poll only at http://www.triplejnet.au.
Employees of the Promoter (the ABC) and their immediate families and agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter. Entry is only valid if a vote is confirmed by following the
confirmation instructions which are sent via email immediately after votes are cast. No responsibility
is accepted for late, lost, misdirected or undelivered confirmation instruction emails.
Promotion commences Monday 1st June. Entries close at midnight Sunday 28th June 2009. The
winner will be announced on air Sunday 12th July at Level 6, 700 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW 2007.
Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner’s name will be also
be published online at www.triplejnet.au.
The Promoter may conduct further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on
Monday 20th July 2009 in order to distribute the prize if unclaimed by that date. In the event of a
winner in the unclaimed prize draw, their name will be published online at www.triplej.net.au and
announced on Tuesday 21st July 2009.
The best answer to the question “why is this your hottest song of all time? As judged by triple j
management will win two tickets to the Reading Festival 2009 in Reading UK. The prize also includes
economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city, four nights accommodation in the UK and
transfers to the Reading Festival for each of the 3 days that it is held. For more information about

If the winner lives outside a capital city, the winner is obliged to make their own way to a capital city
to catch their flight. The prize will include taxi fares to and from the airport from within that capital
city.
Approx value $7000.
The winner is required to organise their own passport, and any necessary visas or criminal checks as
specified by The UK Border Agency.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The prize is not transferable,
exchangeable or redeemable for cash. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter
reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value subject to regulatory authority
approval.
All entries become the property of the Promoter – triple j. The Promoter reserves the right to use
the content of winning and runners-up entries for the purpose of future promotions.
The winner will be notified by phone and email the day of the prize draw date. Details of winner will
be published at http://www.triplej.net.au on Monday 13th July along with results of the Hottest 100
Of All Time song poll. By participating in the poll, entrants agree to allow their name and state to be
published.

triple j and the ABC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit. The Promoter
makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods offered as
prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained,
to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by
reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its agents, in connection
with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize
winner. This clause does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have,
which are not able to be excluded under applicable Australian consumer protection laws.
