Ever since we heard that BrewDog was opening a bar
in Brussels, we were enthusiastic with the idea of visiting

it. We are fans of their beers since we cracked open a Punk
IPA for the first time! The name BrewDog is, without a
doubt, synonym of high quality craft beer.

The BrewDog brewery, as a company, is kind of a case
study. They started in 2007, in Scotland. A couple of 24
year old lads and a dog tired of dull beer, started a
company and brewed their first batches.
Their history,
since then, is a case of huge success. They have been
growing, starting bars and in the end of 2014, the world’s

employees (and a dog!), 14568 shareholders and 26 bars!

BrewDog bars are alike everywhere, at least in concept. A
nice and casual decoration with a friendly and relax
environment. The music selection is very good and is

We visited the bar and enjoyed relaxed moments sampling

their
beers.
We
tasted:
Dogma, Jackhammer, Tokyo and Vagabond Pale Ale. All
great beers! All of them I will surely review for our
YouTube channel, sooner or later. I will just say that my
favorite was Tokyo, while Isabel’s favorite was Dogma.
Beers are not cheap but they fall into the “normal” Belgian
prices.
Ultimately, if you are in Europe’s capital and you start
feeling that you need a break&beer you can find BrewDog
Bar just across the street from Brussels’s Central Station.
And that is just a 5 minute walk from the Grote Markt! It is
really easy to feel relax and in a good mood. The
environment is even child friendly as they don’t put the
music loud, they have books and table games available and
a pretty relaxed atmosphere. Try it!
