IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING YOUR SCALES
• Ensure you clean your scales platform between weighing foods if you are
weighing directly onto the scales platform.
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Please note, it is possible to unscrew the
platform to remove it from the base, or you can lock the scales and leave the
platform in position.
• Store your scales securely, ensuring the scales are locked.
To lock the scales see below. The weighing platform is very delicate and if
excess pressure is exerted on the platform,
the scales may no longer work.
• Overload the scales by more than 3kg (6lb 9oz) or the scales will no longer
work. Excessively pressing on the weighing platform or placing the scales
upside down may cause damage.
Please note: Any fault caused by such overloading will not be
covered by your guarantee.
• Immerse the scales in water or put them in a dishwasher, as this may cause
them to malfunction.
