Electronics Recycling Information for Ogle County Residents 09/16/2013 Beginning on January 1, 2012, computers (including laptops, tablets and small-scale servers), computer monitors, printers, televisions, keyboards, mice, FAX machines, VCR’s, DVD players/recorders, digital music players, video game consoles, scanners, digital TV converter boxes and cable or satellite TV receivers will be banned from Illinois landfills and residents will be prohibited from disposing of these items in the trash.
