Subject: Award of the NAA's Arborist of the Year
The Nebraska Arborists Association awarded its 2014
Arborist of the Year to Rob Schreiner at the Nebraska
Great Plains Conference held at the Cornhusker Hotel in
Lincoln, Nebraska. The conference is a joint NE Arborists
Association and NE Nursery and Landscaping
Association annual event.
Mr. Rob Schreiner is a Line Clearance Foreman for
Nebraska City Utilities and a Certified NE Arborist. Rob
also is the owner of Tree Worx Service, LLC.
Rob has shown a personal commitment to advancing
arboriculture, tree planting and tree care though the active
role he has played in his community and the Arborists
Association. He has been a key leader in the many new
tree plantings in Nebraska City. He now approves all the
tree plantings for the Nebraska City Utilities "Tree Rebate
Program." Because of Rob's efforts, Nebraska City has
been designated a 2012 Tree City USA award winner by
the Arbor Day Foundation. He has also played an active
role in the NAA by instructing at the NAA's Pruning,
Climbing and Safety seminar held at the Lead Lodge. He
is now co instructor for this seminar.
His volunteer activities also extend into the local
community though his membership in the Nebraska City
Volunteer Fire Department were he now holds a position
of Captain in the Department.
Rob has 3 children: Bryce, 18, ReAnn, 15 and Tori, 14
