Poster and Poetry Competitions 2013!!!!!
Under the theme
“Children’s Care and Protection: ‘A Fi Wi Mission’”
* Must be 9” x 12” – 11” x 17” on
cartridge paper
* use acrylics, crayons, pencil,
pencil crayons, charcoal, pastels,
magic markers, water colours, ink
or any combination of these media
* Judged: Adherence to theme,
Originality, Creativity and visual
effectiveness
Competitions are open to: 6-18 year olds
From: Schools, churches, youth groups, etc.
NB. ALL WORKS MUST BE THE CHILD’S ORIGINAL PIECE
COMPLETED ENTRY FORM MUST ACCOMPANY ALL ENTRIES
* One (1) poster per entrant
* No more than five (5) entries per
school, church, youth group...
* A stanza/verse SHOULD NOT
exceed 6 lines.
- 6-7 yo—no more than 2 stanzas
-8-10yo—no more than 3 stanzas
-11-14yo—no more than 4 stanzas
MAIN SPONSORS:
-15-18yo—no more than 5 stanzas
* Poem can be dialect, standard
English, or mixed
* Poems may have a separate title
from the theme, but MUST reflect
the idea of the theme.
* Judged: Adherence to theme,
Originality, Creativity
* One (1) poem per entrant
* No more than five (5) entries per
school, church, youth group…..
