Reference Library and the pathfinders is through the Media Center tab on the EMHS website.

Before you begin researching you will create a Works Cited page in Google Docs.
a. Log into your EPS Gmail Account [email protected] (same password as computer)
b. Click Rubiks Cube (or Matrix) to access Google Apps, click Drive
c. Click “New” then down to New Google Doc
d. Change the title from “Untitled Document” to “Health Works Cited” click “Enter”
e. Center your cursor, Type “Works Cited” hit enter twice, then align the cursor to the left.
f. Paste citations as you find them.
g. After finding all of your citations, Ctrl +A, format double space, Change Font to Times New Roman, Size 12
i. Create a Hanging Indent by adjusting the tabs on the top Ruler.
2. Use the following databases to research your topics , go to www.edmondschools.net/memorial Click the Menu button on
the left side of the screen, then scroll down and click “Library Media Center”. Then click the “Library Catalog and
Database” button on the left side.

Citation Samples
Books--The EMHS Research Process book includes citation samples for print sources on pages 18-23. Refer to this
book for citing sources not found in a database or ebook.
Author’s last name, first name. Title. City of publication: Publisher, copyright date. Print.
Most electronic sources will include MLA 7ed. citations for each article printed. You must check their citation with the
samples in the Research Process book to verify they are correctly done.
Health Reference Center/Science Online – MLA 7th edition does not require a web address. Only copy
and paste the part of the citation before the URL.
