Harrison: Attention All Juniors Career Day 2017 is coming. TODAY, you can VIEW Career Day offerings. Juniors will have the opportunity to select a mentor in one of 70 career offerings. Which include: Medicine; Veterinary Medicine; Dietetics, all types of Engineering; Law; Advertising; Marketing; PR; Education; Interior Design; Architecture; Construction; Law; Law Enforcement; Photography; Accounting; Music Industry, Entertainment industry and Small Businesses like a Pizzeria, Sporting Goods shop, Fitness Studio and more. Sign-up will be done on-line. So, go to SignUp Genius.com to see what you’d like to choose. Students must create a log-in for SignUp Genius. To find the 70 offerings Search by our Email [email protected]. The actual Sign up will be Thursday, April 27. Harrison: Seniors! Do you want to get your pictures into the Senior Video this year? If so, you must email them to: [email protected] by May 1st. The pictures must be of Seaholm seniors only - and must be appropriate. Get those pictures in today and look for video order forms in the upcoming months. Harrison: Attention students interested in community service hours: We are looking for student volunteers to help out at Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, April 26th from 3:30-7:00pm. If you are interested and available please sign up in the main office. Harrison: Seaholm students, this is a day YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS! Get ready for kindness day! Come to the pool doors in the morning and during A AND B lunch next Thursday the 27th to spread the kindness around Seaholm with free baked goods! If anyone wants to volunteer FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS by baking goods or helping out before school, or during lunch, please contact Emily Lonze, Galina Roehl or Alexis Garfield - or message them on the Seaholm kindness day Facebook page. If you would like to volunteer, you MUST respond by TUESDAY the 25th! Harrison: The medical club will be meeting this Thursday at 7:30 in the little theatre. There will be a physican, nurse practitioner, and physician’s assistant talk about the differences between their professions. All are welcome and there will be donuts! Harrison: Join the Young Conservative Club this Thursday for a special conversation on Race and the Conservative Movement, featuring guest speaker Leonard Martin of J.D. Power and Associates, and yes, Mrs. Martin’s husband. See you Thursday after school in G-102. Nick: Attention Seniors: Three Senior speakers are needed for the graduation ceremony on Sunday, June 4th. Auditions will be held in the little theater on Wednesday, April 26 at 3:00pm. Please sign up in the main office by tomorrow. Speeches should be 3-5 minutes in length and must be typed for submission on the day of the audition. Please bring 8 copies. Nick: It's not too late to go to Prom! An extension will be granted until Wednesday for last minute groups or couples. There are multiple tables of friend groups booked already so grab some friends and book a table now!
