Singapore, 16 December 2015 – The festive season continues after Christmas at City Square Mall,
owned and managed by City Developments Limited (CDL). From 15 January to 14 February 2016,
City Square Mall invites all families to ring in the Year of the Monkey with an abundance of treats and
delights to celebrate the holiday!
This Lunar New Year, shoppers are rewarded with abundant treasures when they spend at the mall.
With a minimum spending of $200* ($300* if inclusive of NTUC FairPrice receipts), each shopper will
stand a chance to grab as many prizes within a preset time in the Windfall Machine. Some of the
exciting prizes to be won include $5 City Square Mall and other attractive vouchers, as well as
exclusive premiums and tickets to the outdoor carnival held at the mall, totalling over $40,000! In
addition, an exclusively designed reversible mandarin orange carrier can also be redeemable with
the same amount of minimum spend.
Another key highlight at the mall is the “Spring Fun in the Park” outdoor carnival held at Level 1 City
Green. Families and friends can look forward to a host of games and rides, including a Monkey-

themed inflatable and Junior Horse Carousel. There will also be a display of the 12 zodiac signs’
2016 forecast, where you can read up on what’s in store for you in 2016, or strike a pose with your
zodiac display.
Renowned Feng Shui master, Master Neo Zhen Jue, returns to the mall to reveal the destinies of the
12 zodiac signs from 22 to 24 January at Fountain Square.
For shoppers looking to stock up on goodies and festive decorations for the Lunar New Year, the
NTUC FairPrice Lunar New Year Fair returns from 18 January to 6 February at Level 1 Atrium.

It is the Year of the Monkey! Head down to City Green at City Square Mall as it transforms
into a carnival befitting the mischievous and clever zodiac sign. Bounce around in the
Monkey-themed inflatable, ride in the Junior Horse Carousel or try your hand at the game
booths. It is going to be a fun-filled Lunar New Year at City Square Mall!
