AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
9-12 APRIL 2015, GLENELG BEACH, ADELAIDE (SA)
The count-down is well and truly on for this year’s Championships in Adelaide.
So what’s involved? How do you get onto a team? Check it out the below!
1. Attend a Trial & the NSW Squad Selection Day
 Sunday 11th January, Maroubra South
 Monday 26th January, Newcastle
 Sunday 8th February Squad Selection, Maroubra South
Come alone, or bring your partner to a Trial.

2. Attend the Preliminary Squad Camp
A maximum of 50 athletes will be invited to attend an
overnight NSW Squad Camp, Sat 21 -Sun 22 February at the
Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen.
Camp starts 2pm Saturday, ends approx 4pm Sunday.
AJBVC Squad Levy $186pp
(includes overnight accommodation, meals, training, presenters & NSW
Squad training shirt)
3. Athlete Selections Endorsed by SVNSW Board
SVNSW selectors will select the following teams to travel to
Adelaide.
 U15 (3-a-side): 3 boys and 3 girls teams
(18 total)
 U17, U19, U23: 2 teams per div, per gender (24 total)
Selections will finalised after the Squad Camp and then
endorsed by the SVNSW Board.
Successful athletes will be notified and published online.
4. Order your NSW State Team Uniform online
Players can order NSW State Team uniforms online. All
orders placed before 27th February will be delivered
directly to your home before Easter holidays.
Uniform designs are the same as 2014 AJBVC & AJVC items.
5. Attend NSW Scheduled Training & Individual Team
Sessions
SVNSW will hold compulsory team trainings. Teams will
also train with NSW coaches at a beach/time
convenient to them between Feb & April. Confirmed
Schedule will be provided to all selected teams.
6. Pay the 2015 AJBVC Player Levy $965pp
Levy includes tournament entry, the overnight NSW
Team Pre-Departure Camp 14-15 March, return
airfares SYD-ADL, share accommodation, ground
transport, meals, first aid, equipment, coaches’ levy
and State Awards Night ticket.
Player Levies can be paid in two instalments.
(Players may be granted approval to arrange own transport to
Adelaide, upon written request to SVNSW. The Levy will be
reduced accordingly.)
7. Pack your bags and fly to the Championships
to represent NSW with your team-mates!
